At 3lb test curve with a super-fast taper and a really strong spine leading to a power house above the reel seat to always mean YOU’RE in control of the cast or the fish! It’s a cracking rod in its own right — and it comes into its own when it comes paired with the OMC FC Carp Reel - A fixed-spool reel preloaded with 15lb Line that also has “that” famous FREE-SPOOL mechanism which clicks “on” and “off” in a heartbeat (turn of the reel handle), or you can fish it traditionally on the backwind or front drag if that’s your style.
Together, they’ll take an angler from their first proper session right through to fishing 60–100 yards with ease.
